What You'll Be Doing

Description:

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and ensuring the completion of specific projects for the organization while safeguarding that these projects are on time, on budget, and within scope. The types of projects include but are not limited to throughput, construction, supply chain, health equity, productivity, and data reporting. The Director will bring a forward-thinking, innovative approach to change management, and the effectiveness of the Senior Project Manager will be based upon the organization’s ability to reduce costs, create economies of scale, maximize efficiencies, increase revenue, and timely completion of assigned projects. The Senior Project Manager will work in close partnerships with leaders and team members across Bayonne while focusing on initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, and then closing out of assigned projects. In addition, the Director shall be responsible for developing the appropriate reports, using pertinent data, and then communicating with all necessary stakeholders critical on outcomes and deliverables.

 

Duties:

  1. Provides strategic direction regarding organizational effectiveness/change management to team member and Bayonne
  2. Proactively assesses needs at the hospital, team and individual levels and uses that information to implement actions, programs and processes to effectively and efficiently address those needs
  3. Consults with leaders on, and supports change execution and organizational development strategies and solutions using a best practice framework that drive sustainable change, achieve transformational business results and build hospital capability
  4. Drives culture change and organizational initiatives to achieve the hospital's strategic goals and support key
  5. Prioritizes needs and requests for change management initiatives and resources appropriately
  6. Clearly/ concisely communicate hospital-wide deployments to team member and key stakeholders
  7. Educate and advise clinical and operational team members on best practices for successful hospital-wide deployment
  8. Develop standard educational materials and supporting documentation to ensure continuity in project/program  lifecycleDevelop manage PM scorecards
  9. Define and develop standard operating and documentation procedures for internal/external scorecards
  10. Maintains an in-depth understanding of business intelligence principles and industry best practices and makes recommendations to gain efficiencies in reporting processes and
  11. Oversees and directs daily operations, in conjunction with leadership, of assigned projects
  12. Collaborates with stakeholders to develop comprehensive, timely, valid reports and presentations
  13. Develops and utilizes appropriate project tracking systems and processes.
  14. Guides the facilitation of clinical and operational improvements through appropriate identification and application of personnel, data, improvement methods, and electronic
  15. Provides subject matter expertise and guidance into the design and implementation of electronic workflows and electronic tools as they pertain to operational and clinical processes and care
  16. Creates a sense of urgency, cultural commitment and enthusiasm around the concepts of continuous improvement and process
  17. Partners with Regulatory/Quality leadership to support and maintain the oversight of regulatory performance improvement to maintain high levels of institutional readiness, meeting or exceeding
  18. Ensures strategies and procedures exist to maximize financial resource management, including development and achievement of financial performance

 

What We're Looking For

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required; Master’s Degree Preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification (must be obtained within 24 months of hire)
  • 5+ years in business or healthcare environment directly related to change management, project management, and process improvement within a hospital or physician
