General Purpose of Position:
The Surgical Coordinator / Medical Office Front Desk professional is responsible for performing a wide range of duties to support both clinical and administrative operations. This role includes assisting physicians with patient care, managing clerical responsibilities, and maintaining an organized and efficient office environment.
Key responsibilities include providing patients with accurate information regarding clinical services, handling incoming telephone calls in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner, and warmly greeting and assisting all visitors. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient service.
