Maintains the OR instrumentation, equipment and supplies in such a manner as to support the clinician in the administration of safe patient care. The Central Service Tech is responsible for identifying, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling and processing instruments, instrument sets and sterile supplies used in the operating room and throughout the medical center.  The technician is responsible for decontaminating patient care equipment. Coordination and oversight of daily activities between the OR and Sterile Processing Department (SPD) to facilitate efficient case flow and high customer satisfaction.

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED; Technical School (preferred)
• Certification: The Sterile Processing certification required. Certification as Surgical Tech preferred, OR-CSR Technician preferred.
•  Experience: Relevant experience preferred in OR and CS
