POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lead Central Service Tech is responsible for identifying, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling and processing instruments, instrument sets and sterile supplies used in the operating room and throughout the medical center. The technician is responsible for decontaminating patient care equipment. Directs and checks work of others in the absence of supervisory personnel. Serves as a resource to Central Service Staff.

Education:       High School Diploma

Experience:     1+ years related experience

Skills:              Detail oriented, Central Service Technician certification Required
