The Activities Therapist is responsible for evaluating,planning,organizing,coordinating and implementing a comprehensive program of therapeutic and creative activities in accordance with current existing federal, state and local standards, as well as facility policies and procedures, to ensure that the spiritual development, emotional, physical, intellectual, recreational and social needs of the patient are met/maintained on an individual basis. Collaborates and participates with participants of the interdisciplinary health care team.  

• Bachelors degree in a related field required.
• New Jersey LPC preferred.
• Certified through the national council for therapeutic activities.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to perform diversified duties within time limitations with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to use problem solving, critical thinking and priority setting skills.
• Bilingual Preferred
