The Manager develops and implements all aspects of the admission process for each patient, demonstrates knowledge of regulations influencing admissions plans and post-hospital care and participates in data collection efforts for quality assurance and quality improvement purposes. Also assists in coordination of patient's pre-assessments and assessments. 

• Provides direct supervision to the PES and/or Admissions staff.
• Develops, implements, coordinates and evaluates clinical admission, referral and/or discharge processes. 
• Assess the need for patient and/or family referral to appropriate resources after admission as a means of providing continuum of care and maintaining or improving function and at the request of the treatment team.
• Participates as a direct liaison with appropriate interested parties and physicians through the patient referral inquiry, admission, treatment and discharge process. 
• Reviews newly admitted patient accounts for eligibility and authorization daily; assists patient and family in addressing financial and other problems with affect admission. 

Full Time, Day Shift 

• Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, nursing or other related field preferred.
• Licensed RN, or LSW preferred
• CDAC highly preferred
• Minimum five (5) years experience working in behavioral health required; experience working in a hospital setting preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate knowledge of current computer systems, equipment or programs used in the organization, knowlegdge of MediTech a plus
