What You'll Be Doing

The Building Service Attendant will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the Hospital. Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Performs routine and/or special cleaning tasks in assigned area in accordance with establish procedures to maintain facility standards of cleanliness while ensuring safety, health and morale of customers with minimal interference to routine operations
  2. Accepts responsibility for the appropriate use of resources (e.g. chemicals, equipment and supplies, etc)
  3. Completes assignments in a timely manner, coordinates daily duties with other departments and maintains communication with the Team leader/Supervisor
  4. Reports any unsafe act, condition or item needing attention/repair to Supervisor for corrective action
  5. Communicates clearly and concisely with all levels of individual
  6. Any and all other duties as assigned

  • Related experience  preferred
  • Detail oriented and ability to properly follow directions
