• The Histology Lab assistant receives Histology and Cytology specimens into the computer system.
• Performs maintenance on Tissue processor and other instruments.
• Assists in reagent retrieval and inventory
• Chemical disposition and maintain records.
• Assists in monitoring functions on eye wash stations and emergency shower.
• Assists Pathologists.
• Work under supervision of Histology Supervisor or designee.

Education:  High School Graduate/GED (required);  (preferred)

Work Experience:  0 - 1 (required);  (preferred)
