What You'll Be Doing

 

 

  • Manage and supervises Patient Access staff in all points.
  • Develop structures and oversees the daily activities of the registration area to ensure departmental standards are being met along with monitoring and maintaining patient flow.
  • Create plans and assign roles for PA team
  • Lead, coach and develop team members in support of individual and departmental goals
  • Ensure full utilization and appropriate maintenance
  • Measure and improve QA statistics (including patient wait time …) and reports results to management
  • Provide metrics
  • Assist management for the evaluation of the staff
  • Assist PA management in educating registration staff of any changes pertinent to their roles, with onboarding hires and help management to find coverage.
  • Manage call outs every other week to help Manager.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Will help with registration as needed
  • Cover registration in the event if unable to find coverage.

What We're Looking For

 

  •  High school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 1 years of progressive experience in Patient Access…. preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience leading and managing teams
  • Strong business acumen and ability to pick up concepts quickly
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with
  • Ability to figure things out on your own, confidence, and competence to communicate with all levels of management
  • Proven experience with business process design and automation
  • Tech savvy
