- To provide care and cleaning of specific equipment, stocking of supplies and equipment, and the transportation of patients, supplies and equipment. In addition, the ER Tech monitors the central station monitors, interprets the cardiac rhythms, documents rhythm strips every shift and more frequently when needed and notifies the Registered Nurse of any rhythm changes.
- Performs all blood specimen collection for Emergency Room patients by venipuncture, finger stick or heel stick according to policy.
