RN is responsible for assessing, implementing and evaluating the delivery care; the professional nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team which may include coordination of services with rehabilitation staff to maximize the patient's independence to return to their prior residence;

- To provide direct, basic patient care under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse. - To provide care and cleaning of specific equipment, stocking of supplies and equipment, and the transportation of patients, supplies and equipment. In addition, the ER Tech monitors the central station monitors, interprets the cardiac rhythms, documents rhythm strips every shift and more frequently when needed and notifies the Registered Nurse of any rhythm changes. - Performs all blood specimen collection for Emergency Room patients by venipuncture, finger stick or heel stick according to policy.
