The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the Nurse Assistant performs delegated tasks and procedures of patient care, involving the physical, psychological, social, emotional, safety, and security needs of the patient.    Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals. - Provides care by administering enemas, douches, non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, heat treatments, sitz and therapeutic baths - Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine and recording intake and output information. - Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor. - Handles the care and cleaning of specific equipment, stocking of supplies and equipment and the transportation of patients, supplies and equipment. - Any and all other duties as assigned

- The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of care. - The RN assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team. - As an integral member of the health care team, coordinates patient care and communicates and collaborates extensively with the other members of the healthcare team, patients and/or patient's family or significant other(s). - Maintains and demonstrates high standards of professional ethics.

Main Functions: Perform all mammographic ad radiographic exams mammographic quality improvement and translates physicians’ orders into appropriate radiological procedures. Other related duties and responsibilities as determined by all medical center at its sole and exclusive discretion. Able to perform all diagnostic radiographic procedures and mammographic procedures.

WORKING CONDITIONS/HAZARDS: Works in all areas of the hospital, with some exposure to unpleasant odors, dirt & dust.  May be required to work outside and off-site locations.  Overtime may be required.  Prolonged standing required (over 75% of work time).  Requires ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, work in inclement weather.  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Prolonged standing, walking, bending, occasional pushing, pulling, and lifting.  Ability to climb ladders.  Respirator fitness test required for OSHA personnel protection standards. 

MAIN FUNCTIONS: - To assist Director/Supervisor of C.S.P.D. in daily operational activities of the Department, and at times manage the Department in the absence of the Director/Supervisor. - Assist in the delivery of the Surgical Case Cart System. - Assure the sterility of processed goods. - Maintains par level inventory of sterile patient care items and keeps adequate documentation. - Assist in orientation of new employees and Continuing Education programs. - Exhibit appropriate characteristics concerning attendance, punctuality, appearance and proper conduct. - Perform other duties as assigned.Skills: Must have thorough knowledge of aseptic technique and procedures, sterilization techniques and procedures, inflection control and work flow principles and requirements, equipment and supply processing; demonstrates and exercise responsible judgement to provide necessary supplies and equipment for patient care including the surgical case cart system                     Basic computer skills

CarePoint Health Radiology is seeking to hire a part-time or full-time breast imager to join our practice.  The ideal candidate must be adept in all aspects of breast interventional procedures including ultrasound guided biopsies, stereotactic guided biopsies, and image guided needle localizations.  The ideal candidate will be fellowship trained and also clinically competent in general radiology.
