The System Chief is responsible for the overall administrative, academic, and clinical operations of the division. The inpatient units include child, adult, and geropsychiatry. The outpatient rotations include training in our substance abuse facility and Neighborhood Health Center. Primarily, identify, analyze, abstract, update any follow-up treatments information on patients with reportable cancer diagnosis. Information included but not limited to the demographics, diagnostic, staging and treatment from the medical records on all cancer cases seen or diagnosed and treated at the designated facility. Cases which are not eligible for reporting needs to be notified. Works directly with the Director CS and physicians to monitor the quality of the cancer registry and ensure compliance with ACoS CoC standards and with other regulatory agencies including NJDOH requirements. Assist Director CS in coordinating and monitoring activities necessary to comply with ACoS CoC standards.
